The Black Business Investment Fund (BBIF) is a non-traditional lender that specializes in providing loans to minority and small businesses. It is a CDFI (Certified Development Financing Institution), CDE (Certified Development Enterprise) as certified by the U. S. Department of Treasury and Community Advantage Lender as certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The BBIF assists businesses in building their management capacity through financial technical assistance services. The BBIF administers four loan programs, which are: Black Business Loan Fund (BBLF*), Micro-Loan Fund (MLF)**, Small Business Loan Fund (SBLF)**, Contract Financing Loan Fund (CFLF)**

First Coast Workforce Development is a publicly funded agency that provides extensive workforce-related services to six counties on Florida's First Coast - Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties.

The Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business (JSEB) program was created to help small businesses compete, not just for city contracts, but ANY contracts. Under the JSEB program, the City of Jacksonville provides qualifying businesses with the opportunity to receive business and technical training geared to small businesses.

The Work

E3 has worked nationally as a community partner with educational institutions, civic organizations chambers of commerce and government agencies to provide realistic guidance and innovative approaches to business start-up, product development, business expansion, and team building for over 1000 entrepreneurs. The organization works to break down silos and support like minded businesses. A membership based organization, E3 has over 22 years of entrepreneur building experience. In 2016 the organization expanded to handle international businesses in Canada, Trinidad, and Europe (military/veteran small businesses).

E3 partners within the community include school systems, health initiatives, community groups, Em-powerment Zones, Small Business Development Centers, and local Chambers of Commerce. We are a Strategic Alliance Partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration & Virginia College. Programs developed by E3 to create an environment of learning and positive enrichment for youth and aspiring en-trepreneurs includes E3 Youth Achievement in Technology, So You Want To Be An Entrepreneur Series, E3Xpo and the nationally recognized Real Talk... Real Change ™ series.
